Everything is better with bacon. Period. I try to incorporate bacon in many of my recipes. I also enjoy a slice for breakfast most mornings.
Bacon is prepared through a curing process that uses salt. It can also be brined. Fresh bacon like the one I use in my recipes needs to be cooked before you eat it.
The uses are boundless. I love using it on pasta. One of the things I want to experiment with in the near future is bacon jam to accompany cuts of meat.
