This post: An Ethnic dining Experience with Saffron Fix, was compensated by Saffron Fix. Opinions are mine alone.

Try a spicy Indian vegan dish of rajma from Saffron Fix. This has a nice exotic blend of flavors. | ethnicspoon.com

Most of us are familiar with the many home delivery meal options available out there. But have you ever heard of Saffron Fix? Well, until recently I had not either. Let me tell you, it was quite a find. As with most delivery systems you will get an ethnic dining experience with Saffron Fix.

I just used Saffron Fix for the first time this week, and LOVED it. My giant box arrived on my doorsteps with all the fixings for two delicious Indian dishes: Chicken Mehti and Rajma. Both recipes also came complete with beautifully illustrated instructions. As I added spices, stirred and smelled, and tasted, I got hungrier and hungrier.

First we made chicken mehti, and were pleased with the complexity of flavors, and how easy it was to prepare.

Mehti (fenugreek) is a typical ingredient in Indian cuisine. It's an ingredient that has both bitter and sweet components, so it adds a fabulous complexity to any dish. The bright green leaves also add a beautiful visual component.

A hearty vegan dish of rajma from Saffron Fix. This dish comes from the northern Punjab region of India | ethnicspoon.com

Two days later we made Rajma, stewed kidnedy beans with an aromatic blend of spices, which we served with basmati rice. This recipe is from the Punjab state in Northern India. It is so flavorful, you wont even miss the meat. This is a totally vegan dish.

Indian food is absolutely amazing. The flavors are bold and intense, and there is so much variety since India is such a large country.

All in all I want to say that the quality of the ingredients is impressive, as are the portion sizes, and most definitely the taste. If you've never tried Saffron Fix, do check them out. You can now enjoy Indian food at home whenever you want and for a very reasonable cost. I know that I am looking forward to trying more of their recipes.

For a change in dinner plans, try an ethnic dining experience with Saffron Fix. Also if you use the code TAKE20, you will get a $20.00 discount.
