Mediterranean food is both healthy and delicious. In fact, many doctors and registered dietitians advocate for the Mediterranean diet. This way of eating is comprised of vegetables, fruits, nuts, and legumes, but very little meat or dairy. or meat. Some doctors credit this healthy regimen with longevity in some countries along this region.
Doctors have also found that individuals along the Mediterranean basin often show less signs of heart disease, Type 2 Diabetes, or stroke. Individuals in these regions display a healthier weight. Given all these wonderful health benefits, why not try a few of these recipes?
