Spanish
Spanish food is to die for. There are so many dishes to try; the ingredients are fresh, and for the most part this cuisine has something for everyone.
Traditional Spanish food has so many culinary influences given the various cultural groups that have lived in the area throughout the centuries. For example, the south of Spain has the culinary influence of the Moors, who lived in the area for over 700 years. The use of olive oil, and the enjoyment of wine is a gift from the Greeks and the Romans.
Probably one of the most delightful culinary traditions of the Spaniards is the consumption of "tapas", the little bite size appetizers popular throughout the country. You can create a tapas spread out of basically anything, as long as the portion is small, very small.
In this section of the blog I have included a few tapas recipes for your enjoyment. But you might also be inclined to look through the appetizer section and choose from any of these Spanish recipes.
